PFS can help a water system document hydrant condition, location, inspection history, requested testing, deficiencies, priorities, photographs, and follow up status under a clearly defined assessment scope.
Hydrant inventories and field observations organized around the questions, priorities, and decisions identified by the water system.
Flow testing, annual inspections, flushing support, and pressure observations can be included when authorized in the agreed scope.
Reviewed records can be organized by hydrant so authorized users can find photographs, findings, flow history, reports, and dated updates.
Scalable hydrant identification tags connect water personnel in the field to each asset's live authorized record and current inspection updates.
Before quoting an assessment, PFS confirms hydrant count, available records, field scope, reporting needs, schedule, and required deliverables.
CERTIFIED COMMERCIAL & RESIDENTIAL TESTING
PFS provides certified testing, handles the required documentation, explains failed results and retesting requirements, and sends annual reminders for commercial and residential properties.
SIMPLE FROM THE FIRST CALL
Email the location, available plans or records, deadline, and what the field work needs to support. One message starts the process.
For flow testing, we check city or county witness, verification, permit, and fee requirements, then confirm scope, approvals, access, and scheduling with you.
For flow tests, we target results within 5–8 business days after client approval and required local authorization, subject to witness, permit, and site availability. Other services follow the confirmed scope and schedule.
DETAILED DOCUMENTATION FOR EVERY SERVICE
Every Pavey Flow Solutions service includes organized documentation appropriate to that scope. Flow testing, backflow testing, pressure recording, inspections, and system assessments each receive the records needed to communicate the field work, results, locations, observations, and follow up information.
Measured pressures, calculated discharge, available flow at 20 PSI, water supply curves, hydrant locations, photographs, and test details.
Assembly identification, certified test results, failed result and retest details when applicable, and required documentation completed and handled by PFS.
The recorded pressure history, observation period, location, notable high and low periods, and known field limitations.
Hydrant asset records can include identifiers, locations, photographs, condition findings, requested testing, priorities, reports, and dated history. Dashboard or tag access is included only when agreed in the final scope.
FLOW TESTING, IN PLAIN LANGUAGE
The water system pressure measured before the test hydrant is flowing.
The pressure remaining in the system while water is being discharged from the flow hydrant.
The velocity pressure measured at the flowing outlet and used with outlet size and coefficient to calculate discharge.
The calculated volume of water discharged from the hydrant, expressed in gallons per minute.
A calculated projection of the water supply available when the residual pressure reaches 20 PSI; it is not a directly measured field reading.
VETERAN OWNED & OPERATED
Brothers Konnor and Karson Pavey learned hydrant flow testing in the field alongside their father. Today, Pavey Flow Solutions is led by co-founders Konnor Pavey, Karson Pavey, and Nicholas Pitts. Both Konnor and Nicholas served in the United States Marine Corps.
That hands on foundation, accountability, and direct communication supports engineering firms, contractors, municipalities, water authorities, and fire departments across 47 U.S. states.

Start with the property or system location, requested field work, site contact, desired timing, and any available hydrant, utility, notice, map, or asset information.
Our services are designed around prompt field communication and organized delivery. Exact timing depends on the scope, access, coordination, and reporting requirements.
Yes. We can coordinate work across multiple systems or sites and build a schedule and reporting scope around the service need.
We are based in Pelham, Alabama and coordinate hydrant testing, pressure recording, system assessments, and municipal field programs across 47 U.S. states. Backflow testing remains available within our established backflow service footprint.
