CERTIFIED COMMERCIAL & RESIDENTIAL TESTING

Complete backflow testing and support.

PFS provides certified testing, handles the required documentation, offers onsite repairs and retesting, and sends annual reminders. For urgent backflow concerns, 24/7 emergency service is available by calling 810-FLOW-TEST.

SIMPLE FROM THE FIRST CALL

Three steps. No guesswork.

1

Send the project details

Share the address, site contacts, hydrant information, and timing.

2

We coordinate the test

We confirm access, schedule the field work, and keep communication direct.

3

Receive dependable results

Your results are organized and delivered promptly so design work can continue.

DETAILED DOCUMENTATION FOR EVERY SERVICE

Clear reports built around the work performed.

Every Pavey Flow Solutions service includes organized documentation appropriate to that scope. We do not force flow testing, backflow testing, pressure recording, inspections, and system assessments into one generic report. Each deliverable is built to clearly communicate the field work, results, locations, observations, and follow up information your team needs.

01

Flow Testing

Measured pressures, calculated discharge, available flow at 20 PSI, water supply curves, hydrant locations, photographs, and test details.

02

Backflow Testing

Assembly identification, certified test results, repair and retest details when applicable, and required documentation completed and handled by PFS.

03

Pressure Recording

The recorded pressure history, observation period, location, notable high and low periods, and known field limitations.

04

System Assessments

Hydrant locations, condition observations, photographs, requested testing, maps, and organized follow up items.

FLOW TESTING, IN PLAIN LANGUAGE

Five terms worth knowing.

Static Pressure

The water system pressure measured before the test hydrant is flowing.

Residual Pressure

The pressure remaining in the system while water is being discharged from the flow hydrant.

Pitot Pressure

The velocity pressure measured at the flowing outlet and used with outlet size and coefficient to calculate discharge.

Flowing GPM

The calculated volume of water discharged from the hydrant, expressed in gallons per minute.

Available Flow at 20 PSI

A calculated projection of the water supply available when the residual pressure reaches 20 PSI; it is not a directly measured field reading.
