Plan service in our 47-state service area
PFS coordinates hydrant flow testing, pressure recording, municipal field programs, annual inspection support, flushing support, and system assessments across 47 U.S. states. Project location, access, authority coordination, crew requirements, and reporting needs are confirmed before mobilization. Choose an observation window that covers the relevant day and night conditions. Provide the approved connection location, access contact, and desired report date. Placement and retrieval are scheduled together, and the recorded interval is documented.
When a full day observation helps
A single pressure reading captures one moment. A 24 hour record adds context around daily use and recurring pressure changes. It can accompany a hydrant flow test when engineers or owners need a broader view of observed conditions.
Temporary field observation
We agree on the recording location, observation period, access, and water authority coordination before the visit. The recorder is connected for the agreed period and removed afterward. The deliverable is the pressure record and its documented field context.
What the report covers
The agreed report can include the pressure history, observation location, start and finish times, visible high and low periods, and notes about gaps or field events. Time references and the usable recording interval are identified so reviewers understand the record.
Use the record in context
Pressure recording does not directly measure available flow or establish the cause of a pressure change. Hydrant flow testing and engineering review provide the additional information needed for design decisions. Discuss a 7 day observation when a full week is more useful.
Confirm the location and scope
PFS is based in Pelham, Alabama and coordinates national mobilization across 47 U.S. states. The service request identifies the actual water supplier, operating permissions, access, schedule, and deliverable. A city mailing address alone does not determine the water authority or its procedures.
