Plan service in our 47-state service area
PFS coordinates hydrant flow testing, pressure recording, municipal field programs, annual inspection support, flushing support, and system assessments across 47 U.S. states. Project location, access, authority coordination, crew requirements, and reporting needs are confirmed before mobilization. Send the project address, proposed residual and flow hydrant locations, site contact, and any required witness or permit information. We confirm hydrant operating permission, discharge arrangements, and the report recipient before scheduling.
What we measure
Field testing records static pressure before flow, residual pressure while flowing, pitot pressure at the outlet, outlet size, discharge coefficient, and calculated gallons per minute.
Why projects need it
Hydrant flow information supports fire protection design, preconstruction planning, water supply evaluation, system checks, and coordination with the authority having jurisdiction.
One email starts the local coordination
Send us the project address, scope, and deadline. PFS researches the applicable city or county process, confirms any required witness, verification, permit, and fee requirements, and coordinates those steps with the water provider or local authority. We confirm any applicable fees with you as part of the agreed scope.
A clear delivery target
Once the client approves the scope and the city, county, or water provider grants any required authorization, we target testing and delivery of results within 5–8 business days. Witness availability, permits, access, and other local requirements can affect the confirmed schedule.
What you receive
Your flow test report identifies the test location and setup, measured static, residual, and pitot pressures, calculated discharge, and projected available flow at 20 PSI. Hydrant photographs, mapping, and a water supply curve are included when applicable to the agreed scope. The readings and calculations are labeled so your engineer and reviewing authority can follow the result.
Confirm the location and scope
PFS is based in Pelham, Alabama and coordinates national mobilization across 47 U.S. states. The service request identifies the actual water supplier, operating permissions, access, schedule, and deliverable. A city mailing address alone does not determine the water authority or its procedures.
