Plan service in our 47-state service area
PFS coordinates hydrant flow testing, pressure recording, municipal field programs, annual inspection support, flushing support, and system assessments across 47 U.S. states. Project location, access, authority coordination, crew requirements, and reporting needs are confirmed before mobilization. Send the project address, proposed residual and flow hydrant locations, applicable NFPA 291 edition or project requirement, site contact, and any witness or permit information. We confirm local operating permission, discharge arrangements, and the report recipient before scheduling.
Recognized testing practice
NFPA 291 provides recognized guidance for water flow testing and hydrant marking. We apply the relevant testing practices while confirming the edition and local procedures required for each project.
Field verified readings
A typical test records static pressure before flow, residual pressure while water is flowing, pitot pressure at the outlet, outlet size, discharge coefficient, and relevant field conditions.
Calculated project results
Measured readings are used to calculate flowing discharge and project available flow at 20 PSI. Reports distinguish measured field data from calculated values so reviewers can follow the basis of the result.
Clear project documentation
Results can include a flow summary, water supply curve, hydrant photographs, labeled GPS locations, mapping, recorded elevations and distances, and test setup details for a usable project record.
Confirm the location and scope
PFS is based in Pelham, Alabama and coordinates national mobilization across 47 U.S. states. The service request identifies the actual water supplier, operating permissions, access, schedule, and deliverable. A city mailing address alone does not determine the water authority or its procedures.
